She’s always spent lots of time on her feet and never really had any health issues.
She thought she was doing fine.
However, the past few years the aches and pains have crept in.
Her shoulder has started to hurt and her hips get sore.
She started going to yoga once a week, but this didn’t feel like it was enough.
She was worried that if she didn’t start to do something more, she was going to become really unfit and she wasn’t quite sure what to do.
She knew she probably should do something though!
The idea of going to a gym and lifting weights was terrifying! ![]()
She’d never lifted weights before and was very skeptical. ![]()
However, after being encouraged by friends, she came along to a session at the beginning of the year and she’s still here now!
She’s surprised herself at how much she enjoys the sessions (or rather how much she doesn’t hate it!!)
She’s challenging herself and she’s feeling fitter and stronger.
“I find in a small group, we are all on our own fitness journey but I feel supported both from Polly and the other members of the group.”
