I was reminded a few days ago that one of my morning habits when I put the kettle on was to smile.

I tried it again this week.

It’s just me on my own, first thing in the morning, I feel so silly doing it, that it makes me laugh. Which makes me feel even better!

But did you know that smiling is actually really good for you?

Smiling releases the feel good hormones dopamine, serotonin and endorphins which all improve your mood, reduce stress and even help to relieve pain.

It’s so simple and easy to do and it honestly really works!
