1. Pick something you ENJOY doing – if you’re dreading it, you will come up with an excuse not to do it
2. Make it FIT into your day – even just parking further away than normal or perhaps carrying a heavy rucksack or weighted vest on your normal dogwalk
3. Make it SOCIAL – can you meet a friend for a walk instead of a coffee? Or preferably both?!
4. PLAY ! Whatever that may look like for you – even if it’s just a boogie in the kitchen 🎶
Try and remove as many barriers to exercise as you can 🚫
Remember, it’s normal not to want to feel like exerting yourself, it’s survival! 🐆
Don’t feel guilty about it; try and think of ways to trick your body into moving and make it as easy as possible for yourself
