Accountability – this is where being part of a small group can really help!
Having a plan – if it’s in the diary, there’s no need to think when am I going to do it
Remove the barriers – this may mean having your kit ready to put on the next morning or not returning home after school run/work – just go straight out before you get distracted or decide you’re too tired!
Think bigger picture – remind yourself why you’re doing it
Arrange to go with a friend or have a coach – preferably both! It really helps when you have that sense of commitment
