However, she realised that although she did lots of cardio and lower body exercise, she needed some upper body work!
She’d never done any overall body fitness.
She’d never been to a fitness class.
The thought of lifting weights did not appeal to her at all (that’s for bodybuilders!)
Then she broke her wrist last year and realised how weak everything felt in the upper body.
She knew she needed to do strength work.
But she was worried about injuring herself.
She had long term back problems that she didn’t want to make any worse.
She wasn’t quite sure where to start.
Finn gave the small groups a go over a year ago and she hasn’t looked back!
She has much more confidence using her wrist now.
More importantly, her upper body is much stronger than it was
Her core strength has improved hugely which is helping her back – particularly helpful now has she is now a Grandmother to a heavy baby!
Finn really enjoys the small group where there is structure but everyone has freedom to move at their own pace and everyone encourages each other.
And no scary gym equipment!
She is now doing press ups, which she never thought possible and squats and lunges are part of her normal routine!
Amazing Finn!!
Well done!
