“I love the fact I’m doing things I’d never normally do”

Helen juggles a very full-on role as a CEO.

Ten years ago, she was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer and since then she’s been through a lot of very intense treatments.

As a result of her treatment, she developed type 2 diabetes and lymphoedema in her leg which can be incredibly painful.

She’s on a lot of medication.

However, through it all, she’s always tried to keep moving as best she can.

“When I came across Polly’s small group training, I decided to try a session – and it’s honestly one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.”

After 2 months, she was really feeling the benefits:

💪She was more flexible

💪The pain in her leg eased significantly

💪She was feeling stronger

And as a result, her confidence grew.

She started to actually enjoy and look forward to the sessions.

In October she increased her weekly sessions and started to notice significant changes! ⬆️

She came in one morning very excited to report that:

🥳Her blood sugars were down for the first time in 10 years!!

🥳Her triglycerides (bad fats) have finally started to come down too!

She’s been a vegetarian since childhood and always eaten well.

The doctors could never fully explain why her triglycerides were so high.

“I’m convinced that the strength-based training and all those squats and lunges – are making a real difference.” 🦵
