Some tips for keeping it simple:

➡️ Pick a time of the day or week that works for you. Don’t arrange to exercise at 6am if you’re not a morning person! Could you drive halfway to work and walk the rest of the way? Think about what you can do, not what you can’t .

➡️ Access – If you are going to work out at home, make a space. Have the kit 👟 in an easy to reach place.

➡️ Habit stack – kettle on = press ups.

Waiting for porridge to cook = squats etc This way you’re training your brain with association. It works!

➡️ Break it up – if you’d like to get to 10,000 steps per day and right now you’re doing 3,000, start by aiming for 4,000. That’s progress!

➡️ Reward – eg find something you enjoy listening to and look forward to that 10 min brisk walk round the block as thats when you get to listen to your fave podcast or audio book (or just some peace!)

✅Remove as many barriers as possible;

✅Be real with yourself and

✅Make it EASY (or at least, less difficult!).

What helps you?
