Make movement NECESSARY and make it SOCIAL

And to make it fun is even better!

There was a time (and it’s still true in lots of cultures) where our job was very active. Whether this was hunting or gathering or later, farming.

Even housework involved a lot more hard work than it does now with dishwashers etc

Things are changing all the time to make our lives easier and I’m not complaining!

However, we’re constantly getting less and less active.

We need to make it more part of our day.

1. Pick something you ENJOY doing

2. Make it FIT into your day – could you walk/cycle to work/school drop off etc? Could you add a heavy rucksack to your walk?

3. Make it SOCIAL – can you meet for a walk instead of a coffee? (or both?)

Any other tips to make movement NECESSARY and/or SOCIAL ?
