I’m not really that Personal Trainer, though I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it and even sometimes admire it when I see others, I’ve just never really felt the need ![]()
I have gained weight in the past year or so. Lots of reasons have led to this, but generally, I’m eating more!
I go from being really frustrated and annoyed to, ‘oh what the hell!’
But, although my tummy is definitely sticking out more than it used to (!) I do also have more muscles and strength train more than i used to ![]()
A few years ago it was all running, swimming, Pilates and I ate pretty much nothing but vegetables.
Now I eat more protein, a few more carbs and do more strength training than anything else![]()
Oh ok, and I eat more chocolate too! ![]()
So I’m going to take my own advice and stop just focussing on the scales and look at how my body is changing and embrace it.
I eat well, my weight is still healthy, I just need to accept I may need to buy some new trousers and even that isn’t so bad….
Sometimes it’s just a case of changing how you look at things.
