Gemma Read is in her early 40’s.
She is a principal at a secondary school – it’s a very demanding and fast paced job where being physically and mentally strong is really important.
She’s also a busy mum to 2 small boys.
When I met her:
She was really struggling to find time to exercise
She was feeling sluggish
She felt totally disconnected from her body
Her confidence was low and she had no expectations of herself at all.
She’d prioritised everyone around her, apart from her and she was now feeling it
She knew she had to do some exercise but not quite sure what or how or more importantly, WHEN! She’d never been able to stick to anything before.
After just 3 months, she was feeling great!
She had more energy,
She’d lost some weight and felt overall much better!
She then doubled down on her sessions and she just took off! ![]()
Her confidence massively increased and she started signing up for fitness events, something she’d never considered before!
She’s now completed multiple 10km runs (first half marathon now booked!) an 80km bike ride round lake como, and 2 triathlons!!
Things she’d never dreamed of before!
She now lifts well over her own body weight in the gym and can do a full press up!
She’s now lost over 11cm round her waist;
Lost 10kg
Down 2 dress sizes!
She’s leaner, more toned and has way more energy.
But what she’s most proud of, (and what makes me so proud!) is her mindset change.
She now feels empowered by what she’s achieved and that confidence spills into her work and family life.
She’s more present, resilient, and genuinely happier.
What Gemma says:
“It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health. The small group training is tailored, it’s effective, and it’s sustainable. This journey has been transformative, and I’m so grateful for the strength, confidence, and joy it’s brought into my life.
The small group setting is brilliant. It’s supportive, motivating, and fun. You get the personal attention you need, but also the camaraderie of others on similar journeys. It’s a safe space to push yourself and celebrate progress.”
Amazing stuff Gem. Such a privilege to be part of your journey ![]()
