Polly

I have a degree in International Health Studies; a diploma in Breastfeeding Counselling and a Level 3 Specialist Personal Training diploma (the ‘special’ bit means I’m trained to work with people with medical conditions) and since then have worked in health promotion in the community in some way or another!

How I ended up in Fitness
I used to suffer from terrible back and neck pain in my teenage years on and off which also led to migraines in my 20’s; I would sometimes spend days in bed in a lot of pain
In 2015, in my early 30’s I decided I’d had enough and I started seeing a wonderful chiropractor Joanna Moore (who I still see now) and she suggested I try pilates for core strength alongside my adjustments .
So that’s what I did. I’ve never looked back!
During this time, I started paying more attention to my diet. I thought I ate healthily but I started adding in lots more veg and reduced the carbs and sugar. Slowly, so it just became a new way of life for me.
I found healthy, nutritious food that I enjoyed.
I found people around me that were also on their own journey to better health. Mainly through reading blogs and friends to run with.
I felt great!
I lost 10kg, had much more energy and found myself running distances that I thought I never would be able to and ran my first half marathon in 2017!
And, my pain and headaches reduced significantly!
I experienced significant health complications with my 3rd baby in 2019 and it took a while to build my strength and endurance up again.
In summer 2020 I decided to train as a Personal Trainer and now I help others on their own health and fitness journeys and I love it.
Olivia (Liv)

Olivia (or Liv) brings a unique and varied background to her work as a personal trainer, shaped by years of travel, study, and creative work. Originally studying Spanish and Portuguese, she spent over a decade living and working across Latin America as a teacher, filmmaker, and researcher, collaborating with social movements and community projects. After returning to the UK and becoming disillusioned with the film and TV industry, she chose a more grounded, people-focused path—ultimately leading her to pursue personal training as a way to combine her passion for movement, connection, and wellbeing.
Her interest in fitness has deep roots, from early exposure to yoga through her grandmother to years of running, strength training, climbing, and pole fitness. Strength training in particular became transformative after helping her recover from injuries, sparking a long-term commitment to building a resilient, balanced body.
However, her journey hasn’t been without challenges. After developing long COVID in 2022, Liv was forced to rethink her approach to fitness, moving away from high-intensity, “push through” culture and towards a more sustainable, supportive model of training.
This experience now underpins her philosophy as a coach. Liv is excited about helping people build strength, confidence, and body awareness in a way that works for them—especially those managing fatigue, hormonal changes, or long-term health conditions.
She’s passionate about creating an inclusive, encouraging environment that challenges toxic fitness narratives and empowers clients to feel stronger, healthier, and more capable in everyday life.
Naomi

Naomi was born in London, though grew up in Birmingham and is a Brummy at heart. However she’s lived in Bristol for over 25 years. Before becoming a personal trainer, she spent many years working in wildlife conservation and fundraising, including time in Namibia and Botswana in her twenties doing hands-on fieldwork. After a long career in that world, she decided it was time for a big change and an opportunity to try something completely different.
Staying active has always been a big part of Naomi’s life. Her training has changed throughout the different stages of her life from pregnancy, busy mum and now menopause, she’s always found a way to keep moving. Over time, she’s seen just how closely physical strength links to feeling more confident and capable in everyday life. That’s what led her into personal training—wanting to help others experience that same shift, in a way that works for them.
She really enjoys meeting a mix of different people and figuring out how to make training suit each individual. Seeing progress, building confidence, and being part of a supportive community are the things she values most. She loves working with people who are up for giving things a go, ask questions, and don’t mind getting it a bit wrong along the way.
Outside of work, she’s usually out walking her dog, reading for her book club, or cooking.
