Elizabeth is a retired 74-year-old university teacher

➡️ She would describe herself as someone who does not enjoy exercise 🙂‍↔️

➡️ She likes swimming and yoga and does this regularly however she found her fitness levels slowly deteriorating as she was getting older.

➡️ She was stuck doing the same exercise each week in the same way

➡️ Stamina and energy levels were diminishing

Her balance was definitely become more ‘off’

She was just accepting this as the ‘inevitable march of time’.

However, when her granddaughter came along and she wanted to be able to be actively involved in her life, this gave her the push to reach out and decide she wanted to do something about it 💪

She also thought her husband needed some help too with his fitness after a recent health scare and realised that doing it together would be an encouragement for them both.

Just a couple of months later and Elizabeth:

✅ Is noticeably less tired than she normally is

✅ Improved stamina and is able now to keep up with the energy requirements of a 3 year old – well – almost!!

✅ Has lost 3 kg and inches round her waist without changing her diet

✅ Although Elizabeth may not quite use the word ‘enjoy’ – she finds the small group a fun way of getting fit!

I’ve been really impressed with the work that Elizabeth is putting in between sessions.

I know she doesn’t love this kind of exercise and would not automatically choose to do it; yet from seeing the difference it’s making in her life, she’s doing her bit at home too, even those much dreaded lunges!! 🦵🦵

“I have become much more conscious of the value of exercise and try to do a little each day 🤏. It’s hard work – you only get out what you put in – but I consider it an important investment in my future…”

Well done Elizabeth!!!
