Don’t wait around ‘trying’ to feel more positive or more energetic.

It’s unlikely to just happen.

There are actions though, no matter how insignificant they may feel, that can help to lift your mood and get into a positive frame of mind 🧘‍♀️

  • Surround yourself with positive people 🫶 And avoid the negative ones! People who generally have a more positive outlook on life are often more successful and more content – it’s catching!
  • Compliment one person everyday 👏 This makes them feel good but it also makes you feel good!
  • Eat some fruit and vegetables 🥗 Ones you enjoy! It will make you feel good.
  • Go for a walk 🚶 Walking is so good for your mental health in so many ways – if you can do it in some green space, even better!
  • Avoid too much news! 🥴 Its always doom and gloom and it’s constantly in our faces like never before – listen/read/watch in small chunks if you have to !

Something I’m doing right now to try and start my day right, is to look outside at the birds and the trees. I open the window so I can hear them and spend just a minute or 2 looking at some green.

It’s literally just 1-2 mins but it really makes me feel good! (maybe one of these days I’ll actually get out there!!)
