It’s unlikely to just happen.
There are actions though, no matter how insignificant they may feel, that can help to lift your mood and get into a positive frame of mind ![]()
- Surround yourself with positive people
And avoid the negative ones! People who generally have a more positive outlook on life are often more successful and more content – it’s catching! - Compliment one person everyday
This makes them feel good but it also makes you feel good! - Eat some fruit and vegetables
Ones you enjoy! It will make you feel good. - Go for a walk
Walking is so good for your mental health in so many ways – if you can do it in some green space, even better! - Avoid too much news!
Its always doom and gloom and it’s constantly in our faces like never before – listen/read/watch in small chunks if you have to !
Something I’m doing right now to try and start my day right, is to look outside at the birds and the trees. I open the window so I can hear them and spend just a minute or 2 looking at some green.
It’s literally just 1-2 mins but it really makes me feel good! (maybe one of these days I’ll actually get out there!!)
