Me time
The most common reasons people start training with us is to:
get stronger;
feel better;
to have more energy;
get fit
And to do it with some accountability and consistency etc.
The other thing that I hear a lot too is:
‘me time’.
Exercise shouldn’t be a luxury but it often is. I even catch myself viewing it like that. And perhaps that’s why I’m noticing it more now than ever when I hear others say it.
But it can be such an effort to carve out that precious time!
Time without children; work; anyone else to think about, just you. Time out of looking at all the jobs that need to be done around the house.
And not only is it good for you in that moment (endorphins release, getting the blood going, laughing with others) it’s an investment for your future health too.
I see the biggest result from those who prioritise their sessions. Who take their health seriously.
I’m speaking to myself here too!
Do you struggle to carve out that precious time?
Is exercise your ‘me time’?
