Lots of people come to us because they want to feel better about themselves.
They can’t believe their body is in the shape it is right now.
It just happened.
I don’t just mean how they look, but about how they feel about their body too. ![]()
What it used to be able to do and now doesn’t.
Their body has changed shape and it does not feel good.
Various aches and pains and niggles have set in and they realise that the things that seemed so easy and natural to do, have become hard or even impossible and it gets them down.
And then you want to eat to make yourself feel better and then you feel worse and you’ve entered into a vicious cycle thats hard to get out of.
They often feel let down or disappointed by their body.
That it’s not working properly.
That they’re not able to do the activities they want to
.
This may mean running a marathon or getting on a paddle board but most often it means keeping up with the kids/grandkids, being able to handle lifting heavy shopping or watering cans or being able to join in with family activities.
Is this you? Have you found that you’ve actually stopped doing the things you enjoyed and not even realised?
Do you have to ask for others to help you carry the shopping? Or avoid getting on the floor to play with the kids as you’re worried you’ll not get up again?!
